We Are Family!!

Its time again for our Meyer Family Reunion. So Friday we packed up and headed to Blanding. This year we were going camping and I was so excited, because we usually just set up tents in my grandma's yard. We got there ate and had a little program. It was fun this year because every family got a turn to talk about their family and what was going on in their lives. It was fun to hear all about everybody, since we have such a big family its hard to keep track sometimes.

Here is my Grandma and my Mom
Saturday was the fun day with all the activities planned. We got up bright and early, ate breakfast and headed up to the cabin. It is a really old cabin that we like to go up to. The last time we were there it was about 10 years ago and we got pictures taken in front of the cabin so we decided to do that again this year.
This is our large Happy Family!!
After the billions of pictures we had to take, those who wanted to hiked up to the waterfall. I remebered years back when we went that it was a steep climb so I opted to stay with the ones who didn't want to go.
Me and my lovely sisters
(Don't let it fool you this was the first day, thats why we look half decent)
When everybody got back we went back to camp, ate lunch, and headed off to dry wash. This year we rented kyaks and canoes, and they had a dock there that we could jump off of. It was so much fun, and I love when we get to go swimming with everyone. It started to rain on us so we ran to the cars and went back to camp.
My cute Grandpa and his dog Lady
We ate dinner and had another program. This time we had a testimony meeting. I think this is the first year we have had one and it was so good. Only a couple of people shared their testimonies, but the spirit was so strong. After that we sat around the campfire telling jokes and talking.
Jamie and I
(another first day)
By the time it was time to go home I didn't care how
I looked so I'm glad I don't have any pictures of that!!
I love our family reunions and family get togethers. I love my family and am so proud of the heritage that we have. Thanks to everyone who put it together, and who went. Hopefully those who didn't make it can definately make it next year. I'll be praying that its another campout, because those are the funnest of all!!
