Family Vacation

For our family vacation this year we went to MONTANA! Since Jamie was still in town her and her kids came with us. It has been a blast and I love it up here, too bad its so far away. I love being in the mountains without actually camping. It was a long long drive up here and we had to double up on seats. We had 9 people to an 8 peson car, it wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't have car seats. After half way the three of us, Jerika, me, and Jake switched jamie for the back and it was a much better ride from there. We started out and stopped in Ogden to sleepover at Grandma's.
We went to Yellowstone for a day which was pretty exciting. I really wanted to see a bear, but didn't see one. All we saw were buffalo and elk. Pretty boring, but on our way home my sister saw a bear, but I didn't see it.....However today I was walking misi down to see the lake to see how much the paddle boast were. When we were walking back I noticed people stopping, I didn't think anything was going on and started up to our condo. Suddenly a black bear ran about 25 feet in front of me....It was so scary and I didn't know how I was going to defend Misi and me, since I was so exausted from pushing him around. Don't worry the bear didn't come near us, but I did get to see a bear and it was a pretty close encounter with one. Anyways we went to see Old
Faithful. Thankfully we didn't have to sit too long, just long enough for Ami to cry that he didn't want to be 4 anymore, because he wanted to sit in the stroller and to take picutres. This is us doing silly pictures waiting for Old Faithful to explode. This is us again getting a picture of Old Faithful. It was pretty exciting, probably the most exciting thing of the day. It wasn't a very exciting day with driving around all day.
Other things we have done on our trip is we went swimming, went to Bozeman and went shopping (because how can we go somewhere and not go shopping), explored around Big Sky, went to a real hick county fair, and went.....Paddleboating....This is us with our life jackets waiting to get on the paddleboats.

And this is the winning team, we had races with Jerika, Jamie and O and we won every one. Except the last one, but we bumped them along, so we really won. It has been a fun trip and I am glad Jamie and her kids have came, because if they weren't here it would have been pretty boring with only Jerika, Jake and my Parents to keep me company. Hopefully we can all sleep all the drive home tomorrow in the car while my dad drives.
