This year my Christmas present to myself is....extensions!
I've
always wanted long hair, but my hair doesn't grow very fast. A couple of my roommates have extensions that you can take in and out. So, my roommate and I decided to get extensions together. We got them colored and cut by my other roommate and I love them. The only problem
Tonight is my last day of work! I am so excited but a little sad to be leaving my old people....but i may be back if I don't find another job. I am just excited to be able to go home for as long as I want, but not to have to look for another job. Hopefully I'll beable to find a good one that I love.
On the side note, my roommate elsie is moving out for winter semester. She is going home, she says that her mom wants her to come home, but I really think that it's only because she hates snow. So I am supposed to be going home tomorrow, but she isn't leaving until tuesday. Last night she was trying to persuade me to stay until sunday, so I told her if she goes and makes a snow angel in the snow I would stay....So being how she is, doing whatever I tell her she went and did it. It was so funny, because she hates snow and hates being cold. She proved her love for me and I am staying until sunday. I probably would have stayed anyways since there is supposed to be a storm on saturday, but it was funner this way. Making her jump in the snow for me!
This past weekend my dad, brother Jake and I went to Texas to visit my T
exas family and to Go to Pila's graduation. It was quite an adventure going with only my brother and dad, but I survived. We went on Thursday and just hung out that day. Pila's brother and his family and his Parents came along with some other relatives so it was quite a house full but it was super fun. On Firday we went shopping..we went to a few stores then of course my brother and dad wanted to go to the bass pro shop (it's like cabellas but i thought it had a lot more animals all throughout the store). Anyways it was fun. Ofeina and Ami were a little scared of the animals, but they loved it. The kids loved 
the boats, and they had a hunting game where they shot at a target that they loved to do. At there they had tons of animls, but my favorite 
was this huge bear. It was so tall, of course we had to take pictures by it. It was way to tall to fit into a picture from my phone so this is all I got of it. On saturday was the graduation...it was long! And misi was sick so I had to hold him the whole time, but it was ok, 
becuase i don't get to hold him lots. Pila's mom made a whole bunch of candy lei's so we each got one. We took tons of pictures then went out to eat. We ate a lot, got stuffed and went back to the house for a program. Pila's family put on a program for him. I guess in tongan culture to honor him they have people dance for him. So all the little girls got dressed up in their tongan
outfits and did a dance. I wish I had pictures of them because it was the cutest thing, but I will post some when I get to my mom's house next week. They also did another dance for him. It was so cute, I love it! Since most of the people there were Tongan they sang songs and said something to Pila in Tongan. I love listening to Their Tongan hymns, even though it is the same hymns we sing ( I think) I always feel the spirit so strong. It is so beautiful to listen to! Later that night we played pounce which I love that game, but I didn't win a lot, I thing it was because my sister was my partner and she's a little slow..ha just kidding. I just had to put that in for her! Sunday was our last day :( We 
went over and hung out for a bit then we went off to the airport. We stopped at Chili's and ate lupper (lunch supper Ha!) which was pretty good, went to the airport then said our goodbyes. It's always hard to say goodbye to everyone, but it's getting easier. The first few times I always cried whenever I said goodbye to them, but now I have realized that it won't be to long until I see them again that it isn't so hard. And yes they are probably coming to Utah soon....I know they can never stay away for too long!
One of my favorite things in the whole world is going home....I love going to Richfield. As soon as I see that flying J sign I get really excited! This week I got to go home, because Jaliz was getting a little home sick, and I didn't have to work so I went home with them. It made me really excited for christmas, because my mom has got a lot of our christmas decorations out and I love christmas...Now we just need the snow and it will really feel like christmas. Another thing I love about coming home is that all we do is go shopping, sit around talking, and cook! Oh and we play ticket to ride!
I am quitting my job, woot woot, my last day is the 19. I quit so I could spend a long time at home for the holidays. However, I got a call the other day and I went in for an interview. They called me back and asked me to come in for a working interview. The dentist office is on the other side of my block from my apartment. It would be so perfect, because I could walk to work and save lots of money on gas. So everybody please pray for me...my working interview is on Tuesday, and I have never done one before so it could be really interesting. Hopefully I will get it!!
Some more news...I am going to texas in 6 DAYS! I am so excited to go see my babies. However, I am going with my dad and Jake so it will be very interesting....I guess I'll get to be one of the boys for a weekend. So my week is going to be exciting!! Cross your fingers for me on that job!!

Oh my gosh i loved loved Twilight. If you haven't seen it it is a must see. However, I really wouldn't stand in line for an hour to see it, like I did last night in the cold. But it was so good, they didn't really show all of what was in the book, but no movie can do any book justice. I really can't wait for the rest of them to come out. I am definatly buying this movie when it comes out so I can watch it anytime I need my hot boy fix, because Edward is so so HOT. He might not look hot in the previews, but he is definatly in the movie. Just look at him...hot! 
There is only 4 more days until TWILIGHT!! Woot Woot. i am so excited, my roommate got tickets before so we are all set and good to go. I am so very excited, because I loved the books. However, usually when they make movies from books it can either be a good movie or it can turn out bad. They usually leave out half the movie, which is really annoying, but it's been a long time since I have read the book so I don't think it will bother me very much. Anyways I am so very excited for friday, because before we are going to UVU's Luau (hot brown boys!! Wink wink) and then going to Twilight after...exciting..i'll post about it on saturday and tell how it went. a ta ta ta bye bye (ha the ringer...watch it!)
I am a little depressed today because it is now a little ways into November and I still haven't found me a dental assisting job. When I signed up for this school they where like, there will be tons of jobs..it won't be hard at all to find a job! YA RIGHT. I started applying for jobs when i first started the course and i still don't have a stinkin' job. I am leaving in April to live in Tonga until July and don't know if I should just keep my job now or keep on looking for a dental job. However for those of you who don't know what my job is now it is a server job. I work at an assisted living home and serve the old people their food. I am getting pretty sick of it and need to get a new job soon or I am going to go insane. I think by now I am ready for any job that I would enjoy...any advice...I NEED HELP!!! oh and to top it off Jeffrey leaves tomorrow and my roommate is leaving me (shhh I'm not supposed to tell anyone that part)...oh gosh i need my mommy good thing she's coming tomorrow!
This year our FHE Mom and Dad asked us to plan and do an activity for FHE...of course with it being October we planned to CARVE PUMPKINS. This is my favorite Halloween activity, so i was super excited.
Even better Elsie..my Tongan roommate hadn't ever carved pumpkins before, because she said it was a Caucasian thing so she was excited to.
This is her first pumpkin she carved all by herself..she did a really good job at it. Well anyways we all split up in groups and carved a pumpkin together. We were supposed to be judged on them and see who carved the best pumpkin, but I think we all forgot..However, I think our pumpkin was the best, because it had a uni-brow and big ears.

Anyways after all the excitement, being the mischievous person i am wanted to dump all the innards on somebody. I tried to lure kenzie outside, but she wasn't falling for it, so I lure Elsie out. I tried to dump a big wad of it on her but i am not a very good aim so i mostly got the ground. She got me so good though and I got her a little, but it was still a blast. I love my roommates and all the good times we have together!
This is so crazy my big little brother as he would call it is leaving on his mission in 1 week... I can't believe this time has finally come. It makes me 
sad, but happy at the same time. When I was sitting in the airport waiting for Jamie and Misi to come for the farwell missionaries were coming home and it made me teary eyed. My little brother who likes to beat me up whenever I come home is leaving for 2 YEARS.....geez hopefully he can do some growning up in that space of time. 2 years better go by slow because I can't even imagine him being married and knowing how he is with girls he will be finding him a wify soon after his mission. I better get a work on that or he'll be married before me and we can't let that happen!!
thought it was a very good talk. One of the good ones that I have heard...and I have been to a lot....wink wink. ha just kidding. But it was good to see all my sisters and get to talk with them..driving home from the airport talking to Jamie, sleeping with her not getting much sleep at all with that dang closet light on, talking on the deck with all my sisters and cousin then after beating them all at ticket to ride, because I am the CHAMPION ticket to rider...and most of all eating such good food especially the texas sheet cake from my mommy...yum I love it.
and be an example for his family. Hopefully having him on his mission will give our family lots of blessing because frankly I need a man....ha just kidding. I thought I would add that in for my sisters....But ya..Good Luck Jeffrey even though he won't read this (I'll have to write him a card with my picture in it!) I Love him and will miss him...but it's only two years which really isn't that long, he'll be back before we know it....Love you all my family and I can't wait for another get together so we can play TTR...Jamie we can play when I come to texas in december maybe we'll have to get Pila's family in on the game....Love you all lots. P.S. I thought I would add a little color too my letters becuase it seems to be the popular thing to do these days...how does it look? 
Sorry its been such a long time since i have blogged, and i even have had things going on. However, I think its so boring when people blog and they are these big long blogs without any pictures. I haven't got any pictures yet so when I get all of them I will have a super long blog about my happenings in October.....so just hold on to your pants and I will try this weekend to get all my pictures I need. (here is a picture of my pumpkin waldo that I carved last year. don't worry this year is better and You will be able to see it soon)
I love going to Blanding. Even though it is out in the middle of no where I still love going. It is always a nice relaxing vacation for me. I usually take a book or just watch t.v. and relax. I went with my family this past weekend so that my brothers could go deer hunting. Ya with our families hunting luck we didn't get one, but thank goodness. The last time I went to blanding to go deer hunting with them, they actually shot one. So my nasty brothers and dad tied those dang deer to the top of the yukon with blood dripping down the sides. That isn't the worst part they stuck the heads in plastic bags and put them in the car. I was so annoyed and grossed out that i didn't go the next year. But, this year we were taking a car and jeffrey's truck, so I wouldn't have to ride the 4 hours ride home with a deer head practically next to me.
I wrote this long blog already and it didn't work and it earsed so I will try again. I love making different crafty things..scrapbooking, decorations, and quilting. Someday I want to open a craft store and let people bring their different things that they have made. Kindof like quiltedbear, but not that big. I think its a brown girl thing...ok well its a jessica, jamie and jaliz thing. I think we got it from my mom. However, Jerika tries hard, but she struggles and janelle just didn't the gene. Anyways my roommate and I have been wanting to redo our room and paint it for a while. So the other day I decided to rearrange our room, it looked pretty bare so I decided to whip some things up.
I let my roommate use my magnent board that I use to put my pictures on so I needed something. I found this cute fabric at joanne's and whipped it up. It was fast, easy, and cheap. It turned out pretty cute I think.
This I made at work. I made it at my scrapbooking job and love it. My whole apartment is filled with vinyle lettering and I decided that our room needed some too. I made it from a cricute machine it was very easy. I have been trying to get my mom to buy one for a long time...ya I'm still trying...
I also made this at my scrapbook job. It's just wood blocks with scrapbook paper over them. It says DREAM BIG if you couldn't figure it out. Notice the teeth on the books. They are mine that I made at my class. I am very proud of them. Funny story..the first time my roommate came she thought I was weird because of these. Also...notice the acorn nut thing. My roommate found it and wanted me to put it in our room. I also had some peaches and she wanted me to dry one of the pits and hang it in our room. I laughed at her face and told her she was cool....ya she's tongan...enough said!! ha ha just kidding I love my tongan roommate!
Today after church I look out our front door of our apartment and there was three ducks. They were so cute that I had to feed them, because at work we have a duck pond and all the old people always talk about it. There is this little old lady at work that never eats her dinner, she just breaks it up in little pieces and goes and feeds it to the ducks. I always want to go
take bread out to the ducks but I am always working. So, I just had to feed those little duckies. They were so cute, I tried to get them to come into my apartment but they wouldn't come. I have been thinking of what I could get our apartment for pets and these little duckies would be so cute to have, but they wouldn't come so I will have to think of something else to get.
Midway. It is my favorite place and everytime I go there I always say I am going to move there someday and I am. We get to drive through the canyon and it is so pretty with all the different fall colors. But anyways we go up friday and just stay over night. We usually just go up and swim, because the swimming pool is just like a hot tub it is so warm. This year we went on the alpine slides and roller coaster. It was so fun, when we got off the coaster, which was the best part it was so fun, I used my good looks and charm to get the boys to let us ride again for $20. ha ha just kidding but the let all of us go again so that was fun.
After that we took a little road trip looking for red robin. My brother in-law put directions in his phone to look for red robin, ha but we ended up in a neighborhood where someone lived named robin red. ha ha it was pretty funny. After we ate at sqwatters (the only place we could find) we went swimming. All we do on Saturday when we're up there is shop at the outlets in Park City. It was not a very successful trip, I only found a few things. It was a fun trip and I can't wait to go next year...and eventually live up there (my brother doesn't think I will, but I will)! Today was mine and Kenzie's last day of dental assisting school. So I am now certified to be a dental assistant and also am certified to do CPR!!!! Wahoo!

So my face has started to break out lately and I had this brillant idea to go get microdermabrasion....or however you spell it. Anyways it was too much for money so i decided to go with a simple chemical peel. BIG MISTAKE!!! I went and I got there and talked to them for a bit and then they handed me a tube top rob type thing. They are like strip down to however you feel comfortable, ya i feel comfortable with my clothes on thank you, but i went to the bathroom and just took off my shirt and left my bra on. The girl did what she does and then she started to put the chemical on my face. She said we are going to leave it on for 5 minutes but if you need to take it off before just tell me. She put it on and about 3 1/2 minutes later I told her to take it off. It burned so bad I was about in tears. After that i went home and went to work with my face so red it looked like I got sunburnt, nope it's just acid that burnt my face. So thankfully I came home this weeked because my face is peeling, splotchy red, and hurting. If I was still in provo I think I would have spent the whole weekend in my room or with a paper bag over my face. Hopefully it will go away soon or I will be very upset!!!! And no I am not going to post any pictures of what my face looks like, it's almost as horrifying as my bells palsy.
This weekend there was a big huge dance in the reams parking lot. We all went to it and had a good time. The music wasn't very loud and there were a ton of people so we only stayed for an hour or so...but it was fun. Here are a few pictures of it!

ur apartment. Well when I came to our bathroom our wonderful light fixture had fallen and broke all over. Worst of all our other roommate didn't flush the toilet or something because there was yellow looking water all around that smelled like pee....ew!!
! I have to smell it at work and it's just what I want to smell it at my apartment. I got some nice looking plastic bags and shoved them over elsie's hands so she could go pick up the glass that went everywhere, even in the toilet. We got it all cleaned up and now it doesn't smell so bad in there because it smelled so bad!!

Anyways on saturday I went back up to ephraim to hang out with my old roommate. We rode horses and hung out.

Of course we had a party after that!!I got a new calling in my new ward today...even though I have only been in the ward for a week! My new calling is...drum rolls please.....I am in the service committee. Exciting huh..I was just praying that I wouldn't have gotten called as being a sunday school teacher. But yes I am very happy with it and if anyone has any ideas with doing different kinds of service projects let me know.
Well today I moved into my apartment....and now it's 12:45 in the morning and I have finally time to sit down and be partially moved in. There are 6 living in the apartment, but hopefully I can luck out and not get a roommate (she didn't show up today). I am living with Kenzie (who I have lived with throught all my college life) and her sister. There are two other girls that we live with now that are nice.....but they are pigs!!!! There is random stuff in all different cupboards, and there is no extra storage to be spared so it makes it ten times worse! We spent all night tonight organizing the kitchen and there is still food in all different places. Hopefully by the end of this week we can have everything organized and up to our expectations. However, they have decorated the apartment pretty dang cute, so i won't have to worry about that. I will post some pictures later, but now I hear my book and bed calling my name.....
Misi's birthdays by eating cake and ice cream and opening presents. Yesterday Janelle and Alyssa came down and today we went to the
24th parade. It was fun to watch the kids get all the candy they could and get so excited over it. They are so cute. 
But sad to say that I have to go back to Provo tonight because I start sch
ool tomorrow. Good thing they are staying a while so i will be able to see them lots more.July has been a fun busy month and it has gone by way to fast! First of all on the 4th of July weekend was our annual Meyer family reunion. It is always fun to see all the family again and spend time playing games and doing different activities with them. We went to the parade, went to Dry Wash and ate, and ate, and ate! It was way fun.
